Harte Gold INCOPORATION Sugar Zone Mine

The Sugar Zone Gold project is an underground mine located near White River, Northern Ontario, Canada. The Sugar Zone mine is one of Ontario’s highest-grade gold mines.
Scott Steel is proud to have been entrusted with the responsibility of erecting the Pre-engineered Super Structure for the Harte Gold Sugar Zone Mine. This structure includes the Mill Building, Paste Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant, Gold Room, Reagent Room, and all exterior amenities such as conveyors and Stockpile building. The scope of the project also included piping (such as fittings, gaskets, supports, free-issued components, etc.) generally within the Mill Building.

"We engaged Scott Steel and Scott Concrete for the construction and assembly of essential infrastructure for the Harte Gold “Sugar Zine Mine”. The foundations and steel erection construction period coincided with the brutality of a northern Ontario winter providing some of the harshest possible conditions for this work. SS/SC proved that despite the tough conditions their team on site were committed to completing work that was safety first, well organized and equally importantly cost and schedule transparent with the unavoidable need to heat and hoard as they worked. The result was a scope of work which was completed in an expedient timeframe with, significantly, no lost time injuries.
