Côté Gold mine project
location: gogama, ontario
We were proud to be selected for the development of the Côté Gold deposit, an open-pit gold mine located in northeastern Ontario, Canada. The project is expected to produce 367,000 ounces (oz) of gold annually over its 18-year mine life and has a total budget of $1.3bn.
Scott Steel was tasked with the design, supply, and installation of concrete and steel for the following buildings as part of the Côté Gold CC031 project:
- Truck Shop and Interconnecting Corridor between the Truck Shop
- Truck Wash
- Warehouse Building
- First Aid and ERT Building
- Assay Lab Building
- Warehouse
- Mine Dry
Scott Steel was selected for the supply, fabrication, labour, delivery, and erection of the 140,000 sqft Pre-Engineered Process Plant Building. (CC019)
